Our Services

VOCAL-NY offers harm reduction services to people who use drugs in New York City, based out of our Brooklyn office.

Harm reduction is a person-centered, trauma-informed approach to working with people who use drugs. To accomplish VOCAL-NY’s broader mission, we offer resources and education to minimize the social and health harms associated with drug use.

Peer Delivered Syringe Exchange Outreach

Peer-Delivered Syringe Exchange (PDSE) is a program that was created to help reach injecting drug users (IDUs) who are, due to different factors, unable to visit a syringe exchange program (SEP) to collect their necessary materials, as well as dispose of their used syringes safely.
