VOCAL-NY’s HIV/AIDS work is carried out by our Positive Leaders Union, which brings together low-income people living with HIV to fight for their health and rights.
VOCAL-NY’s drug policy work is carried out by our Users Union, which unites low-income people directly affected by the war on drugs.
VOCAL-NY’s mass incarceration work is carried out by our Civil Rights Union, which brings together people who have experienced incarceration and criminalization to fight for just alternatives.
VOCAL-NY’s homelessness work is carried out by our Homelessness Union, which unites people who are currently or formerly homeless to win quality housing.
Across all VOCAL-NY unions, we work to ensure that people are put before profit by building political power through coalitions.
